ESG & FUTURE
Building for the long term
Three commitments carry across every project we take on: how it performs environmentally, how it treats the people who build it and live in it, and how it is governed.
Environmental
Sustainability as a guiding principle for excellence
We treat sustainability as a technical decision rather than a statement of intent. It is written into scope, specification, and budget at the stage where those things are still inexpensive to change, and it informs decision-making throughout the asset lifecycle.
Our methodology draws on the professional background of our founding principal, which includes participation in high-performance and highly complex developments — among them projects certified LEED Platinum by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) — and the implementation of Zero Waste strategies and operational efficiency frameworks.
Environmental consultancy and monitoring is contracted for every Orbis Strato construction site, as a requirement written into scope at contract stage.
Each project applies specialized technical knowledge and the international standards of quality, innovation, and sustainability that those references set.
Social
Social responsibility as a commitment to people
A construction site is a workplace before it is a product. Health and safety, lawful labor conditions, and the qualification of everyone working on site are the first measure of whether a project is well run — and the one we refuse to trade against schedule.
We are committed to a culture that lets our professionals grow and contribute. By encouraging curiosity, continuous learning, and professional development, we strengthen not only our team but the quality and integrity of every project we deliver.
The same applies beyond our own operations. We seek to generate positive impact in the communities where we work, through responsible economic participation and through spaces designed to improve the quality of everyday life.
Every milestone we reach and every challenge we overcome is made possible by the exceptional individuals who power Orbis Strato Engenharia forward.
At Orbis Strato, we understand that building is, ultimately, about people.
Governance
Governance as a foundation for integrity and long-term value
Transparency, integrity, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards are the pillars of our corporate governance.
Our compliance processes, risk management framework, and internal controls are structured to ensure regulatory adherence and operational integrity. They are described, with their current stage of implementation, on our Compliance pages.
Our values and principles are being set out in a Code of Conduct, which guides decision-making and supports a culture of ethics, accountability, and responsible business practice across the organization.
We assess the environmental, social, and ethical performance of our suppliers, subcontractors, and strategic business partners, and align our engagement with them to the same principles.
